The Cretans were always eager to aid in all wars Greece went into.
The museum is housed in a Neoclassical Building of 1870. It includes exhibits such as war artefacts, historical heirlooms and photographs of the participation of Cretans in many wars such as the Revolution against the Ottomans, the Balkan Wars, the Asia Minor Campaign and the World War I and II.
